Thanks to his work promoting GLSEN’s No Name-Calling Week at Cisco Systems Inc., GLSEN Board Member Rick Moran received the Above-and-Beyond Executive Sponsorship/Champion Award from Working Mother Media and Diversity Best Practices at the Network and Affinity Leadership Congress on June 5.

Moran, Vice President Solutions Marketing for Cisco Systems Inc., encouraged fellow employees to support and participate in January’s No Name-Calling Week by spending a day at a school to give back. The program was lauded as a common-ground initiative that all employees could embrace.

Cisco Systems Inc. is a longtime supporter of No Name-Calling Week, an annual week of educational activities aimed at ending name-calling of all kinds and providing schools with the tools and inspiration to launch an on-going dialogue about ways to eliminate bullying in their communities.
