GLSEN Northeast Ohio Events

GLSEN’s Day of Silence is a grassroots campaign started by students that has organically grown to become one of the largest single student-led actions in the country. Concerned students, from middle school through college, take some form of a vow of silence to bring attention to the silencing effects that anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment has LGBT students and their allies.

We are excited for Day of Silence 2014! We have a variety of guides and resources for students and supportive educators to help you map out how you choose to channel your time and energy around the day.

What are you doing for Day of Silence? Share your plans with everyone below! Then let GLSEN know what to expect this year:

Make your participation known! Register your Day of Silence to tell GLSEN you are taking part in the DOS in whatever way is both meaningful and safe for you. Also, you’ll receive additional resources for planning! GLSEN

If you know of other events we too could be at, please let us know.  It is important for us to be spreading GLSEN NEO'S Mission at events like this.
